If you’re looking for an affordable, kid-friendly Jewish education for your children, and a welcoming, inclusive community for the entire family, you’re in the right place!
The Jewish Family Workshop IV offers Jewish Sunday School and community events with fun, engaging education about Jewish holidays, prayers, cultural practices, traditions, and music for families in MetroWest Massachusetts.
Located at Fay School in Southborough MA, we are an easy ride for busy families from surrounding communities. Many of our community events are held right here at the Fay School too.
At Jewish Family Workshop, you are in control of your child’s Jewish education. We follow a collaborative model so that parents have a say in what and how we do things. New ideas, changes and creativity are always welcomed and encouraged here. We create a close community as we all participate in holiday committees, celebrations, general meetings, and have the opportunity to sit on the board.
Your children are sure to enjoy a fun, flexible Jewish education here at JFW. We take students in Pre-K / Kindergarten through eighth grade and teach them about all sectors of Judaism for a balanced understanding. Our students learn Hebrew in order to read prayers, not to speak fluently. This is a no-pressure, fun approach to Jewish education.
We strive to create a family-friendly schedule, so that you and your children won’t have to miss out on classes or events.
Our classes meet approximately 27 Sundays per school year and we are usually closed on Jewish, Christian and national holidays, and long weekends to support both Jewish and interfaith families.
Strong Jewish community. We foster an inclusive, welcoming environment at JFW where families from all backgrounds and of all structures can come together to form a community held together by Judaism.
Founded in 1975, the Jewish Family Workshop IV is a collaborative of reform and interfaith Metrowest families who have joined together to educate our children in Jewish traditions and to join in the celebration of the Jewish holidays.
We represent varied religious backgrounds and training, but share a desire to provide our children with a quality Jewish education at an affordable price.
Welcoming families from diverse backgrounds, our mission is to provide traditional Sunday school jewish education to children, ages preschool to 13 years, in a collaborative family format.
